An early interest in videography and photography in his younger, skateboarding days led to a stint as a cruise ship videographer. HIs equal love for nature and adventure eventually led to Sam's discovery of expedition cruising and its many adventures, ending up as a video chronicler filming polar bears and Walruses in Svalbard.

Her passion for travel and new experiences led Rashidah to the thrill of expedition cruising. She has worked on expeditions to the Arctic and Antarctic, and has crossed the Drake Passage over 60 times. Rashidah is the only Singaporean who is IAATO, AECO, Powerboat and STCW certified.
